Peggy (Schierz) Withers Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy (Schierz) Withers (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Peggy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Peggy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Peggy leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Schierz and Gudula Berndt. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Withers; her sister Anita Schierz; her children, Christopher and Geneviève; her brother Glen (Lee-Ann Scott); and her nieces and nephews, Amy and Jordan. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Mrs. June Withers, her in-laws.
