He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert and Rosel; and his brother Heinz (Joan). He is survived by: his wife Christa; his children, Barb (Phil), Sue (Brian) and Paul (Jen); his grandchildren, Alex (Kim), Justin, Stuart, Jess (Evan), Haley (Alex), Joe (Alyssa) and Brian; and his great grandchildren, Payton and Wesley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Albertus Pfarrgemeinde (Parish) (416 Parkdale Ave, Ottawa, ON K1Y1H2). A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
