He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Mallinson; and his parents, Paul Meincke and Marie Winther. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Meincke (Helen Cullen) of Ottawa and Carolyn Williams (Eric) of Ottawa; his grandson Colin Williams; his brother-in-law Vernon Mallinson (Genevieve); his sibling's children, Suzanne, Sherri, Cathy, Paula and Mark Mallinson; his girlfriend Susan Williams of Ottawa; and also, Baxter Williams (Lynn Marchildon) of Ottawa, Owen Williams (Rebecca Morris) of Rossland, B. C. and Trevor Williams (Marta Borowski) of Toronto.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A reception will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1).
