He was predeceased by : his father Dr. Kanakendu Ray. He is survived by : his mother Nandita Ray. He is also survived by friends in Ottawa and caring family members.
He enjoyed sports cars, politics, volleyball and exercise which he missed with gyms being closed due to COVID-19.
