He was predeceased by: his parents, Osias DesRosiers and Marie-Ange DesRosiers of Embrun; his grandchild Shawn; and his brothers, Marcel and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Doris DesRosiers; his children, Suzanne Barrett (Robert), Michael DesRosiers (Jane Vinet), Bryon DesRosiers (Elenor), Catherine Benoit (Terry) and Elaine DesRosiers (Ken Quinn); his grandchildren, Shannon, Kelly, Chelsea, Curtis, Gary and Cory; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Hailey, Silas, Finley, Felix, Rowan, Juniper and Finnian; his great great grandchild Emerson; and his brother Bernard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
