He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred and Wilhemine (Richer); and his siblings, Edgar, Claudette (Terry Brennan), Gilbert (Claire) and Conrad.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bélair (Law); his children, Natalie Karen Howe (Chad) and Alain Richard Bélair (Sue-Ann MacDonald); and his brother Pierre (Francine). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews and great friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home's Chapel (180 Montréal Rd, Ottawa, ON K1L1B4). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
