He is survived by: his wife Margot; his daughter Elaine Dawe (Wayne); his grandsons, Colin, Jason and Steven; his daughter Diane; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Vincent, Sandra, Julie, Thomas, Jonathan, Robert, Charles, Angela, Brigitte, Isabelle and Anthony Sauvé; his son James; his grandchild Jordan; his son Dennis (Josée Obomsawin); and his grandchildren, Zoë, Mia and Lili-Rose. He is also survived by his 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Coopérative Funéraire de L'Outaouais (95 Bd de la Cité-des-Jeunes, Gatineau, QC J8Y6X3). Viewing will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Clement Parish (528 Old St. Patrick St, Ottawa, ON K1N 8R3).
