It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Olive (Shea) Cameron (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Cameron of Tatamagouche; her former spouse Sydney Young of Calgary; her son Ken Cameron of Tatamagouche; and her siblings, Irene, Iris, Viola, Frances, Kenneth, Bertram and Vernet.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Lola Cameron of Bedford; her grandsons, Jason Cameron (Rhonda) of Ottawa and Jamie Cameron (Kelley) of Bedford; her great grandchildren, Alex Cameron (Tori) and Georgia Cameron (Ian) of Ottawa; and her sister Ada.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Salvation Army of Canada which was one of her favorite charities.
