He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley (Jardine); and his parents, Charles and Gertrude. He is survived by: his significant other Winnifred; his children, Michael (Syracuse), Patrick (Dauna) of Kanata, Edward (Candace) of Stouffville, Laura of Kelowna and John Dennis of Brockville; his stepdaughters, Leslie (late Ed Ward) of Kemptville and Mary Johnson of Brockville; his grandsons, Scott Dennis and Jeffrey Dennis (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Isla and Eloise; his grandson Christopher Mullally (Olivia); his great grandchildren, Isabelle and Willa of Fernie, B. C.; his grandchild Kira Mullally; his stepgrandsons, Ross McGrath, Dylan Montgomery (Harleigh), Michael and Liam Fisher of Smiths Falls; his granddaughter Amanda Delargy (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Harper, Renn and Sutter of Arnprior; Malacki, Isaac, Nolan and Adalynn of Carleton Place. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Barker Funeral Home (19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1).
