He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret; and his son Jack. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Jones-Johnstone; his daughters, Sandra Johnstone (John Bedell) of Powell River, B. C. and Suzanne Johnstone of Hamilton, Ontario; and his stepdaughters, Maureen Manningham (Richard) of Ottawa, Kathleen McClure (Ron) of Simcoe, Ontario, Bernadette Jones (Alan Marsh) of Ajiic, Mexico and Monica Jones of Ottawa. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
