The world bids farewell to Ronald Joseph Lenard of Ottawa, Ontario, departing on January 23, 2026 at the age of 80. Ronald leaves behind memories cherished by the community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrenze Lenard and Mary Lenard (Yogovich); and his siblings, Kenneth Lenard, June Norman, Ruth Hilaski, Leland Lenard (Skip) and Donna Graczye.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Lenard (Plummer); his children, Rhonda Mott (Mike), Robert Lenard (Shari), Stacey Merignac and Melissa VandenBerg (Jeremy); and his grandchildren, Alivia Mott, Audrey Lenard, Ashley Lenard, Alley Snyder (Colin), Isaac Merignac, Alex Merignac, Eva Merignac, Savanna VandenBerg, Gabriel VandenBerg and Sophia VandenBerg.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home (4330 18th St, Dorr, MI 49323). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Ron, contributions may be made to St. Mary's Visitation Catholic Church.

Even now it chokes me up when I look at the old house on the hill but I know he is in the Lords Arms now probably hanging over a fence looking at 4-H animals with my Dad .You are in our prayers.”
