She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Delanty; her daughter Cindy Hansen; her great grandchild Abel; and her siblings, Betty (late Earl Armstrong), Duke (late Alice), Lena (late Jack Beckstead), Roger (Helena), Chester (Rosalie), Marion (Roger Brazier) and Winston (late Barbara).
She is survived by: her children, John (late William), Michael (late Donna), Patrick (Mary) and Kathy (Don Dowser); her grandchildren, Lawson (Alex), Donna (Mark), Jackie, Patricia, Kayti (Dominic), Bailey, Jasmine, Heather and Kimberley; her great grandchildren, Damyan, Faith, Beth, Mykailia, Avalynn, Annaliese, Molly, Sadie, Jessika, Justin, Austin, Isaac, Tommi and Bronson; her great great grandchild Vyolet; her sister Joyce (late Robert Pennington); and her close friends, Lin McPhee and Veronica Mobley.
Ruby was a community worker in Ottawa and was fortunate enough to have had lunch with our late Queen of England and the late Prince Phillip in recognition of her contribution to the community.
