Sandra Blais Obituary

We announce the death of Sandra Blais (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on June 1, 2026. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Sandra will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Sandra will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Sandra’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Geoff Barlow and Carol Barlow. She is survived by: her husband James Blais (Jim); her children, Mary Blais (Dan) and Thomas Blais (Amanda); her granddaughter Emily; and her sister Judy Zutz (late Ken). She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sandra's memory to the Clifford Bowie School or Canada Food for Children.
