She was predeceased by: her parents, Fowzia Mahdi and Hassan Al-Bakkal. She is survived by: her sisters, Dr. Sahar Al-Bakkal (Ahmed), Dr. Gina Al-Bakkal (Seyed Mirsattari), Dhuha Al-Bakkal and Saja Al-Bakkal; her nieces, Amy and Hadeel; her nephew Tariq; her great-nephew Ameer; and her precious Dina.
