She was predeceased by: her parents, James McKinnon and Jessie McKinnon; her brothers, James and Daniel; and her grandson Lyle.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie McTaggart (Robin), Larry Petrie (Barb), Marcia Scott (Chris) and Ross Petrie (Leann); her grandchildren, Katie, Michael, Chelsie (David), Brianne (Jordon), Rachel (Myles) and Abbey (Tom); her great grandchildren, Quinn and Lennie; and her husband Leonard Petrie. She is also survived by mother, and a proud grandmother whose greatest joy was her family.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Parish (15 Steeple Hill Crescent, Nepean, ON K2R1G2). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
