She was predeceased by: her husband George Lowell Simpson; and her siblings, Alfred Willows and Marjorie Earl. She is survived by: her children, Mary Louise Simpson (Patrick Dolan), G. Michael Simpson (Cindy Simpson), Ken Simpson and Laurie Fitzsimmons (Kim Fitzsimmons); her grandchildren, Jessica McMullen (Shaun Ferguson), Emily McMullen (Steve Jude), Sara Simpson (Adrian MacKay), Megan Simpson (Joseph Pereira), Olivia Simpson (Ricky Casipe), Veronica Simpson (Curt Miller), Bradley Fitzsimmons (Christine Fitzsimmons), Katie Fitzsimmons (James) and Courtney Bown (Rob Bown); her great grandchildren, Stuart, Martha, Timothy, Sophia, Vivian, Isabella, Emma, Èva, Connor, Evan, Hailey and Abigail; and her stepgreat-grandsons, Mason and Colby Jude.
