He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon and Milda; and his brother Allen. He is survived by: his wife Lynda (Parke); his children, Gordon (Valerie) and Alison (Scott Gemmill); the mother of his children Eleanor Carruthers; his grandson Blake; his great grandchildren, Allysa (Eric) and Kendra (John); his stepgrandchildren, Cole (Jessica) and Sierra (Logan); his great grandchildren, Hollis and Lorelei; his stepgreat-granddaughter Charlotte; his sister Penny McNeely; his nieces and nephews, Neil (Colleen), Jim (Kim), Steven, Duke and Kerry (Clarke); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cody, Kiefer, Bobby, Brooke, Casity, Kirsten, Faith, Kieth and Andrew; and his great-granduncle Stan.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Paul's United Church (3760 Carp Rd, Ottawa, ON K0A1L0). A reception will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Carp Agricultural Hall (3790-3832 Carp Rd, Ottawa, ON K0A1L0).
