She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Terefenko and Rose Terefenko; her husband Larry Smith; and her sister Katy. She is survived by: her children, Pat (Brian), Donna and Gary (Diane); her grandchildren, Josh (Sarah), Jess (Carson), Donna (Matt), Julie, Sean and Ryan; and her siblings, Jean and Steve (Wanda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
