The memory of Therese (Lalonde) Chatelain (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on April 26, 2026 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Jean Paul Chatelain; her grandson Paul; her son-in-law Wim; and her granddaughter Danielle (Curtis). She is survived by: her children, Helene, Charlie (Gillian), Marcel (Maureen), Paul (Lise) and Robert (Michelle); her grandchildren, Saskia, Michael, Matthew, Jeffrey (Courtney), Isabel and Jude; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Bodhi, Calvin and Dottie. She is also survived by nephews and their families, many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K4M1B2). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
