Thomas Joseph Henighan Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Joseph Henighan (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Margaret Henighan; and his parents, Thomas A. Henighan and Helen Henighan. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Carson Henighan; his children, Stephen Henighan (Ana Lorena Leija), Phoebe Henighan and Michael Henighan (Serena Chin); his grandchildren, Julian, Leonora and Evelyn; and his sisters, Helen Henighan-Dobbins, Mary Jo Fazzari and Patricia Henighan.

Tom was awarded the Victor Tolgesy Prize for his lifetime contribution to the arts in Ottawa.
