He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Walsh; his siblings, John Madden, Carol Chartrand (Richard), Patricia Amos (Michael), Nancy Etherington (Ian), Susan Hennigan (Brendan), James Madden (Isabel) and Catherine Drabble (Douglas); his mother-in-law Elaine Walsh (late Joseph); and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Walsh (Richard), Alain Goudreau (late Carolyn), Matthew Walsh (Corinna) and John Walsh (Leona). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
