With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tranquilina Abuda (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on December 28, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paula Ocado Lagria and Santiago Lagria; and her husband Julian Tagab Abuda. She is survived by : her children, Trifonia, Beatriz, Aurelia (Norberto), Julie, Glicerio and Teofanes (Armida); her grandchildren, Eduard, Sandy, Dexter, Merven (Sheila), Jessa, Norame, Ada Vaness, Van Kirby and Arfie Paulo; her great grandchildren, Dave Julian, Mischa, Ervey, Kian, Kent-Adriane, Samantha Adeline and Xylia; and her friends, Lilil Bologa and Lina Laganson. She is also survived by her many close friends and relatives.

Luz Jacob wrote a sympathy message

“Lola Liling had been a fixture to the Abuda-Namata family, and surrogate "Lola" to many families in Ottawa. She had displayed exuberance, happiness, and, love of life: be it in opening her gifts (the last photo was Christmas 2020, where she delighted in getting her presents from "Santa".)..and also, when she joined the countless card games of "Tong It", and won the round! You could hear her say " Akon na ni!". She is at peace now. My deepest condolences. Miss you, Lola. God knows best.”
