He was predeceased by: his parents, Idwal Tudor Jones and Winifred Emily (Preece); his sister Catherine Jones; and his son Malcolm. He is survived by: his brother Hugh Jones; his wife Margaret (Wotherspoon); and his children, Graham (Karen), Beryl Scrivens (Mark) and Susan Maheux (Mitch).

Due to Covid restrictions, the family will be holding a private ceremony.
