It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma J. LeBlanc-Trudeau (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on September 14, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel George Trudeau; her son Eugene Daniel Trudeau; her brother John LeBlanc; and her parents, Arthur LeBlanc and Stella LeBlanc (Plourde).
She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Haugen (Trudeau); her grandchildren, Caleb, Anna and Sarah Haugen; her children, Cory Trudeau (Natalie Champagne) and Kristen Trudeau (Stéphane Mayer); her grandchildren, Mikka, Nikola, Sasha Bélanger, Léa-Rose, Christopher, Bianca, Alexandre and Angélie Mayer; and her siblings, Germaine (McMillan), Marielle (Brazeau), Reginal, Roger, Gilles, Michael and Alvin LeBlanc. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coles Funeral Services (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9). The inurnment will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9). A reception will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Pinecrest Reception Centre (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
