He was predeceased by: his parents, S. Vyravipillai and V. Theivanipillai; and his brother V. Nadarajah. He is survived by: his wife Kamalatheavee; his children, Kamalesan, Saratha and Alagesan; his grandchildren, Vinith, Swarren, Annuj, Kishaan, Abbirami and Tharan; and his siblings-in-law, P. Nadarajah, A. Kanapathipillai and A. Govindapillai.
