We bid farewell to Wasfi Ghassa (Ottawa, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 8, 2025 at the age of 95. Wasfi touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, George (Nour), Remon (Fedaa), Roumenda (Elias Naddour) and Rana (Samer Agie); his grandchildren, Reem, Mais, Shaza, Fadi, Roy, Joud, George, Julian Ghassa, Adonis, Natalie Naddour, Elissa and Juliana Agie; and his extended family Syria.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral (750 Ridgewood Ave, Ottawa, ON K1V6N1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to St. Elias Cathedral would be deeply appreciated.
