He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol (Hill); his daughter Kristine; his granddaughter Kalayla; his son-in-law Nicholas; his pets, Mittens and Snowball; his parents, Dorothy Dawson (Avery) and Rev. Cecil Dawson; his siblings, Janice McDonald (Scott) and Richard Dawson (Caroline); his siblings-in-law, David Hill (Nancy) and Beth Horne (Robbie); his nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Danon, Gavin, Mark, Karen, Matthew and Erin; and his great-niece Claire.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tubman Funeral Home (3440 Richmond Rd, Ottawa, ON K2H8H7). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First United Church (347 Richmond Rd, Ottawa, ON K2A0E7).
