She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edith Owens-Robertson and Arnold Owens; her husband John; her son Matthew; her stepsons, Michael (Michelle Perez) and Jonathan (Jessica); her grandchildren, Lili, Sasha, Chloe and Jackson; and her siblings, Barry, Gay (Dean) and Guy Owens.

Wendy lived with Alzheimer's Dementia, and other autoimmune diseases. She has requested donations to be made to the Alzheimer Society: https://alzheimer.ca.
