Wendy touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Wendy’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eileen Saunders and Frederick Saunders; and her sisters, Babs Youmans (Barbara) and Pam Poulin (Pamela). She is survived by: her husband Edward Sokolowski; and her brother Wayne Saunders. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kelly Funeral Home-Kanata Chapel (580 Eagleson Rd, Kanata, ON K2M1H4). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
