He was predeceased by: his wife Amy Smith (Birthwright). He is survived by: his daughters, Yvonne Smith (Yves Jean-Baptiste) and Valerie Smith; his grandchildren, Erica Jean-Baptiste, Alexandre Jean-Baptiste, Sarah Campbell and Tyler Campbell; his nephews, Calvin Smith and Samuel King; and his cousins, England and Jamaica.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions attendance in person for the service is by invitation of the family, but it will be live-streamed for those who wish to participate.

In Willesley's memory donations may be made to the East Gate Alliance Church, Ottawa in lieu of flowers.
