With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Frederick Hoy of Ottawa, Ontario, born in Welland, Ontario, who passed away on April 3, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Frederick Hoy to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Hoy and Helen Hoy (Philp); his wife Kay Hoy (Smith); and his siblings, Jack (Hilda), Doris (Jim) and Bettie (Ron).

He is survived by : his children, Doug (Deborah), Sheryl (Richard) and Kathy (Nicholas); his grandchildren, Karen (Oliver), Graham (Erica), Andrew (Heather), William, Thomas and Maggie; his great grandchildren, Pippin, Silas and Lincoln; and his brother Keith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pinecrest Remembrance Centre (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to The Ottawa Heart Institute (https://www.ottawaheart.ca) or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
