With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Douglas Mackenzie Robinson (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, Auley Robinson and Annie Robinson (McRae); and his siblings, Pat (Roger), Grace (Bill), Florie (Donnie) and Stanley.
He is survived by: his children, Gordon (Stephanie), Peter (Melissa) and Sarah (Derek); and his grandchildren, Aiden, Jack and Drew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & Mc (315 McLeod St, Ottawa, ON K2P1A2). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St Andrew's United Church (21872 Round Church Dr, North Lancaster, ON K0C1Z0). A burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the St. Andrew's United Church Cemetery (21872 Round Church Dr, North Lancaster, ON K0C1Z0). A reception was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 2:15 PM to 4:45 PM at the St. Andrew's United Church (21872 Round Church Drive North Lancaster, ON K0C1Z0).
