Alice Ellis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2024, at the age of 90, Alice Ellis (Owen Sound, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice Ellis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, James'Otto'Foy Foy and Margaret Mary Ellen Foy (Ferry); her husband Robert Douglas Ellis; her son Dean Otto Ellis; her children-in-law, Gordon Raine and Judith Ellis; and her siblings, Marie Exelby, Marguerite Valiquette, Isobel Gilpin, James Foy (Jim) and Robert Foy (Bob).
She is survived by : her children, Sherry Raine, Terry Ellis, Crystal Sipila (Mel), Anita Ellis, Kevin Ellis and Lisa McDonald (Wayne); her daughter-in-law Marivic Ellis-Chamble; and her siblings-in-law, Don Ellis, Ted Gilpin, Blanche Ellis, Elaine Carter and Merry Ellis. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to charities that Alice regularly donated to would be greatly appreciated; Covenant House Toronto, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and the War Amps.
