He was predeceased by : his parents, Kathleen Tweedy and Lawrence Tweedy; his parents-in-law, Edgar and Annie Gibbons; his sister Carole Parker; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Brown, Alvin Vannatto and Randy Gibbons; his niece Jennifer Gibbons (Michael Bate); and his great-niece Katie Joosten.
He is survived by : his wife Lorna of Owen Sound; his children, Alison, Jeremy Vallee of Chesley, Michael Tweedy and Giovanna Canini of Toronto; his grandchildren, Bristol and Maelle Vallee; his pets, Lacey, Johnny and Athena; his sisters, Lorna Brown of Richmond Hill and Glenda Vannatto of Owen Sound; his siblings-in-law, Beverley and Wayne Hilliard of New Hamburg; and his nieces and nephews, Julie Brown, Patti (Lui Boccia), Ted Brown, Donna (Martin Eberl), Lisa (Keith Fiering), Gina Vannatto, Cathy, Lee (Bill Knapp), Rick Parker, Brittany and Leah Hilliard. He is also survived by great –great nieces and nephews, his cousins and distant relatives.
