She was predeceased by: her stepchild Adrian (Iseult); her former husband Gordon Oakley; and her parents, Thomas Darling and Edna Darling. She is survived by: her husband John O'Connor; her stepsons, Victor (Catherine), Derek (Cheryl) and Rodney (Denise); her stepgrandchildren, Rory, Gabriella, Felix and Lola; her stepgreat-grandchild Odin; her brother Morris Darling of Peterborough; her nieces, Amy, Ann and Jane; and her nephew Colin.
