We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2025, John Wright (Owen Sound, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Wright and Elizabeth Wright (Britton) of Etobicoke; and his former wife Lynne Berry. He is survived by: his wife Edith Wright; his children, Jonathan Wright (Jackie) of Guelph, Patricia Sullivan (Shaun) of Sturgeon County, Alberta and David Wright (Alison) of Owen Sound; his child-in-law Shannon Wright of Guelph; his stepdaughter Janet McCarville (Jamie) of Manitowaning, Ontario.; his grandchildren, Logan, Audrey, Liam, Cian, Xander and Riley; his stepgrandchildren, Hannah, Peter, Madison and Zoe; and his siblings, Katherine Haushalter (Uwe) of Etobicoke, Nancy Wright (Andrew Buck) of Victoria, BC and Robert (Lorie) of Tamworth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and 2 grand nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dr. Wright's memory made to Brightshores Health System Owen Sound Hospital Foundation will be appreciated.
