He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alderman and Marjorie Alderman (Kellough); his parents-in-law, Tessie (Wynne) and Sam Andrews; his brother Steven Alderman; his stepson Jon Desmarais; and his sister-in-law Peggy Green (Russell).
He is survived by: his children, Shayne Alderman (Christine) of Owen Sound, ON, Troy Thomas of Owen Sound, ON, Steven Alderman (Jodie) of Owen Sound, ON and Robin Alderman of Owen Sound, ON; his stepdaughter-in-law Heather Desmarais; his sister Marilyn Alderman; his sister-in-law Mary Martin (Wayne); and his pet Samantha. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
