He was predeceased by : his parents, Aaron and Barbara; and his siblings, Lorne, Elizabeth and Margaret.

He is survived by : his wife Vera; his children, Steven (Teresa), Craig (Michael) and Carolyn (Linnae); and his grandchildren, Benjamin (Naomi), Fiona (Austin), Holly (Jesse), Aaron (Michelle) and Laura (Ryan).
