In the sacred silence of farewell, Roland is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Roland's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Berndt and Lydia Berndt of Kitchener; and his siblings, Erika Cliche (Harvey) of Petawawa and Ray Berndt of Big Bay. He is survived by: his sibling Bridgitte Miller (Bryan) of Kitchener; and his sister-in-law Donna Berndt of Owen Sound. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
