He was predeceased by : his sister Edith Middlebro (John) of Owen Sound; his parents, Gertrude McNeill and Gordon McNeill; and his former wife Janis McNeill. He is survived by : his sons, John (Dawn) of Lakeshore and Andrew of Lakeshore; his grandchildren, Jessica, Kestrel and Quinn; his great grandchildren, Ryder and Rain; his brother Doug McNeill (Joyce) of Burlington; his nephews, John (Heather), Reid, Courtney, Michael (Melanie), Jason (Kristine), Brett, Robert (Jennifer), Scott (Tammy), David and Brad (Beth); and his children, Neko, Serena (Sam) and Henry.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 16th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Downs and Son Funeral Home (145 Queen St W, Hepworth, ON N0H 1P0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 16th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Expressions of remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated.
