He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lavinia "Lynn" Wilson; his son David Lyttle; his stepchildren, Rodney, Mark, Keith Courtepatte (late Steve Wilson), Darlene, Janice and John; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Amy, Jake, Brody, Lee, Alexa, Shaun, Jason, Shannon, Derek, Natasha, Morgan, Daniel and Nathan.
