With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucas Rumph of Palmerston, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mia Rumph; his son Terrance Rumph; his parents, Thys Rumph and Annigje Rumph; his sister Anne Brower; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Welmers and Grace Rumph.
He is survived by: his children, Beth-Anne Rumph of Moorefield, Robert, Carolyn Rumph of Listowel, Brian, Kimberly Rumph of Moorefield, SherryAnn, Gary Van Ankum of Arthur, Patricia, Jacob Vanderkuylen of Atwood, Bruce, Jennifer Rumph of Moorefield, Darryl Kuepfer of Moorefield, Miranda and Mike Schill of Arthur; and his in-laws, Hank Rumph, Pat, Bill Hessels, Hilbert, Jannie Rumph, Hilly Welmers, Helen, Menno van der Vinne, Albert, Martha Rumph and Larry Brower.
A reception was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Drayton Christian Reformed Church (88 Main St E, Drayton, ON N0G1P0).
In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Royal Terrace nursing home would be appreciated by the family.
