We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2025, Shirley Hanula of Palmerston, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William John Hanula; her parents, George Wright and Ruth Wright; and her brothers, Donald and Leonard Wright.

She is survived by: her children, Linda, James Straus of North Bay, Deborah Hanula, Michael James of Vancouver, Judith, Brian Vines of Palmerston and Sheryl Hanula of Cumberland; her grandchildren, Sarah Hilbert, Nathaniel Hanula James and Aura Hanula Jephcott; her great grandchild Sophia Manna; and her sister-in-law Odette Wright. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to James Street United Church, the Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
