He was predeceased by : his sisters, Carol Ann (Lesley Naggy) and Christine McNamara. He is survived by : his wife Diane; his children, Lee McNamara of Palmerston, Katie McNamara of Palmerston, Kerri McNamara of Toronto and Robert McNamara (Linda) of Orleans; his grandchildren, Jamie, Halle and Dean; and his sisters, Barbara Monahan (Mel) of Richmond, Peggy McPherson (Ken) of Nepean and Betty Leblanc of Ottawa. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cardiac Care Unit, St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
