He was predeceased by: his parents, Godfrey Rutledge and Lillian Rutledge (Davies) of Harrisburg, ON; his former wife Adelle; his sister Eleanor; and his granddaughter Christi.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his stepchildren, Stephen (Karen), Craig (Cheryl), Andrea Boschman (Laurie), Nadine Mitchell (Randy), Timothy Lee and Todd Lee (Jennifer); his stepgrandchildren, Ashley (Daniel), Rachel (Tobi), Sam, Mitchell (Sarah), Kurtis, Lianne, Aleisha (Brian), Jonathan (Krista), Megan (Ken), Josh (Lauren), Caleb, Brent (Samantha), Mark (Pauline), Jeffrey (Abigail), Seneca (John), Hanna, Bethany (Michael), Mariah, Josiah (Christine), Noah, Isaiah and Elijah; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mae, Carter, Bea, Michael (Running), Evelyn, Grace, Daniel, Joshua, Selah, Rhodes, Adelaide, Levi, Riley Kate, Brooks, Max, Nora, Hannah, Perry, Robin, Fern, Jeffrey Jr., Lumyhna (Lulu), Jackson and Thatcher; his siblings, Harold, Reynold, Ralph and Norma Jean Mainse; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Linton (Leah), Karen Williams and Dona Dee Williams. He is also survived by his 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, February 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cedarview Church (20 Cedar St, Paris, ON N3L0A1).
