He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Maggie"; his son David; his parents, Benjamin and Gladys; and his siblings, Molly, Elaine, William and Benjamin.
He is survived by: his children, Fred (Annette) and Pamela German (Mike Waumsley); his grandchildren, Eric (Emily), Ryan (Lauren), Brandon (Colleen), Ben and Jacquilyn (Atilla); his great grandchildren, Howard, Francesca, Oliver, Addison, Isabella and Maeve; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Hadden (late Earl). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
