He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Szentimrey; his parents, Andrew Szentimrey and Margaret Szentimrey; his daughter Carol; his sisters, Ava Takacs (Joe), Magdalene Kadar (John) and Agnes Beemer; and his siblings-in-law, Delmer Gingrich (Evelyn), Derwyn Gingrich and Donna Burnet.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy McComb (Wayne), Erica Lane (Ken), Amy Vingerhoeds (Peter) and John Szentimrey (Lynn); his grandchildren, Jen (Shawn), Melissa (Ken), Andrew (Melanie), Kara (Noah), Jason, Raina, Leah (Joe), Nicole and Myah (Brayden); his great grandchildren, Vanessa, Emmett, Lizzie, Mason, Piper, Torben and Finnley; his brother Paul Szentimrey (Ariel); and his siblings-in-law, Fred Beemer and Fern Gingrich. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and extended family.
