He was predeceased by : his parents, John Mycock and Frida Mycock. He is survived by : his wife Maxine Cobb Hughes; his children, Peter Hughes (Amber Lynn Koehler) and Darlene Hayes (Derrick); his grandchildren, Damien Hughes, Samantha McCowan and Tamara Vandeweil (Kyle Bossence); his great grandchildren, Amelia Walsh, Lloyd and Charolette Bossence; and his siblings, Rosalind Marchington (Roy) and Robert Hughes (Linda). He is also survived by his extended family, friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home (1105 Rest Acres Rd, Paris, ON N3L3E3).

In Peter's memory, donations to Shriners Hospitals For Children Canada would be appreciated by the family.
