With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andre Godts (Parkhill, Ontario), who passed away on January 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Marcel. He is survived by: his wife Magda Godts (VanMassenhoven); his children, Betty Thomson (Bruce), Marcel Godts (Debbie) and Michael Godts (Christine); his grandchildren, Brian (Elena), Shaun (Melanie), Amanda (Chad), Steven (Ali), Laura, Emily (Michael), Mark, Rachel, Kurtis (Mackenzie), Megan, Ethan and Brendan; his sister Maria (Clement); and his siblings-in-law, Magda, Joe (Carol), Mary (Ken), Cornell (Adrianna), Lucy (Jim), Gus (Cora) and Frans (Ingrid). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Denning's Funeral Home (183 Broad St, Parkhill, ON N0M2K0). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (159 Ann St, Parkhill, ON N0M2K0). A burial was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Parkhill Cemetery (33050 Grand Bend Rd, Parkhill, ON N0M2K0).
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and to the Craigwiel Gardens – Adult Day Program.
