He was predeceased by : his sibling Evelyn Nethercott. He is survived by : his spouse Vivian (McChesney); his children, Anna Herrington (Charles), Allan Nethercott (Beth), Donna Williamson (Kevin) and Doug Nethercott (Keli); his siblings, Doreen Dymond (late Gerald) and Bob Nethercott (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Hazel McChesney (late Bob), Don McChesney (late Lorna) and Judy McArthur (late Roy McChesney). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Chartwell Parkhill.
